Tariq Alvi
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Tariq Alvi is an accomplished cybersecurity and technology executive with over 30 years of combined experience in engineering, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and federal contracting. After beginning his career in engineering and ERP technologies, Tariq developed deep expertise in access control, risk management, and cybersecurity, implementing secure enterprise environments for large public and private organizations. In 2006, he founded XentIT to deliver mission-focused cybersecurity, cloud, and managed services to commercial enterprises and government clients across the United States and Canada.
Under Tariq’s leadership, XentIT has evolved into a recognized provider of cybersecurity operations, cloud modernization, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance services, supporting more than 1,000 customers across enterprise, federal, state, and local government. Tariq holds a Master’s in Cybersecurity Technology and remains actively engaged in shaping XentIT’s capabilities in line with federal frameworks, compliance mandates, and emerging cyber-resilience requirements.
Khalid Alvi
Executive Vice President
Khalid Alvi is a mission-driven federal technology leader with 25+ years of experience across multiple U.S. government agencies, including HHS, DoD, and the Department of Commerce. His expertise spans IT portfolio and investment management, federal cloud operations, large program execution, acquisition strategy, contract management, and cybersecurity governance. Khalid has overseen high-value federal modernization programs supporting critical mission systems, achieving measurable improvements in system performance, operational efficiency, security, and compliance.
Prior to joining XentIT, Khalid directed cloud and IT operations supporting HealthCare.gov, managing enterprise cloud resources (AWS & Azure), multi-year IT portfolios, Tier-1 helpdesks, and multi-million-dollar contracts. He led large-scale cloud migration initiatives, software asset management programs, and enterprise IT modernization efforts delivering strategic mission outcomes for federal constituents. He holds advanced degrees in Technology Management and Business Administration, PMP and AWS certifications, and numerous federal awards recognizing innovation and service delivery excellence.
Paul Johnson
Vice President
Paul Johnson is an experienced IT operations and managed services leader with deep domain expertise in infrastructure engineering, network security, cloud enablement, and enterprise service delivery. Paul has spent his career building stable, secure, and cost-efficient technology environments for private-sector clients, government entities, and managed service providers. His technical leadership spans data center operations, network design, multi-cloud deployments, and secure enterprise IT modernization.
Before joining XentIT, Paul built and scaled managed services businesses supporting enterprise and public sector clients, providing 24×7 infrastructure support, cybersecurity services, and business continuity solutions. His approach emphasizes measurable operational outcomes, cost optimization, and proactive cybersecurity posture management. At XentIT, Paul oversees managed services strategy, next-generation infrastructure initiatives, and security-aligned service delivery for enterprise and government customers.
Jason Jaworski
Director of Cybersecurity Services
Jason is a visionary cybersecurity and technology executive with more than 20 years of experience leading enterprise security, IT modernization, and digital transformation across federal, state, and commercial organizations. He specializes in aligning cybersecurity strategies with business objectives, building resilient security programs, and leading Security Operations Centers (SOCs). His expertise includes governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, incident response, cloud security, and implementing cybersecurity frameworks including NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) to strengthen organizational resilience and meet regulatory requirements.
A trusted advisor to executive leadership, Jason has a proven track record of leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and cloud technologies to enhance security operations, accelerate threat detection and response, and improve decision-making. He is recognized for building high-performing teams, fostering innovation, and delivering measurable business outcomes that balance security, operational efficiency, and organizational growth while protecting critical assets and enabling mission success.
Ernesto Fuller

Ernesto Fuller is the embodiment of a vigilant protector, with a career dedicated to defending the nation’s most critical networks. His journey began as a network security specialist in the U.S. Air Force, instilling in him a discipline and mission-focused approach that he carried into pivotal roles at the FBI, US Marshal’s Service, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
With over 25 years of experience, Ernesto has a profound understanding of the tactics used to breach government systems and the countermeasures needed to stop them. He is our clients’ trusted advisor on the front lines, known for his ability to rapidly diagnose vulnerabilities, implement resilient security architectures, and provide the expert guidance needed to maintain a constant state of readiness against evolving threats.
Maria Thirumalareddy
Lead Technologist
Maria Thirumalareddy is a DevSecOps and cloud security engineer with over 5 years of professional experience supporting secure cloud operations, automation, and compliance-driven workloads. She has engineered cloud security stacks across AWS and Azure, implemented CI/CD and configuration management tooling, and contributed to security enablement for regulated enterprise and public sector clients. Maria holds technical certifications including AWS Solutions Architect and Azure Administrator, and has training in cybersecurity platforms, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management.
Her experience spans cloud security engineering, DevSecOps automation, identity and access management, monitoring, container security, and infrastructure-as-code, aligned to modern software delivery and compliance frameworks. Maria’s academic background includes advanced degrees in engineering, computer technology, and information systems security. At XentIT, she supports cloud modernization and cybersecurity initiatives with a focus on scalable automation, secure deployment practices, and mission continuity for government and enterprise clients.
